We believe that a disciplined environment nurtures responsibility, respect, self-confidence, and academic excellence. Every student is expected to uphold the values of honesty, courtesy, punctuality, and good conduct, contributing to a safe, orderly, and harmonious school community.

General Expectations

  • Students are expected to be punctual and maintain regular attendance throughout the academic year.
  • The prescribed school uniform must be worn neatly and correctly on all working days and school functions.
  • Students must show respect and courtesy towards the Principal, teachers, staff, fellow students, and visitors at all times.
  • School property and facilities should be used responsibly. Any intentional damage may invite disciplinary action.
  • Students are expected to maintain honesty, good manners, discipline, and responsible behaviour both inside and outside the school campus.
  • Mobile phones and other prohibited items are not permitted on the school campus unless specifically authorised by the school.
  • Students must obtain prior permission from the school authorities before leaving the campus during school hours.

Code of Conduct

The school reserves the right to take appropriate disciplinary action whenever school rules are violated. Students are encouraged to develop self-discipline, responsibility, respect for others, and a positive attitude, reflecting the values and traditions of St. Mary's Co-Ed Senior Secondary School.
