Admission policy

At St. Mary's Co-Ed Senior Secondary School, Itarsi, we welcome students from all communities in an environment that promotes academic excellence, discipline, respect, and holistic development. Admissions are granted in accordance with the school's admission policy, eligibility criteria, and the availability of seats. Every application is carefully reviewed to ensure that each student is placed in the class best suited to their age, ability, academic readiness, and overall development.

Admission to higher classes is offered only against available vacancies. Where applicable, students may be required to appear for an admission assessment to evaluate their preparedness for the class to which admission is sought. Submission of the registration form does not guarantee admission, and all admissions are subject to the approval of the Principal, whose decision shall be final.

How to Apply

Applying for admission to St. Mary's Co-Ed Senior Secondary School, Itarsi is a simple and transparent process. Parents are requested to complete each step carefully and submit all required documents within the prescribed time. Admissions are granted strictly in accordance with the school's admission policy and the availability of seats.

  1. Obtain the Registration Form
    Collect the prescribed Registration Form from the School Office and complete it accurately. Please note that registration does not guarantee admission.
  2. Submit the Required Documents
    Submit the completed application form along with the necessary documents, including the Birth Certificate, recent passport-size photographs, Transfer Certificate (where applicable), and other documents as prescribed by the school.
  3. Admission Assessment (Where Applicable)
    For admission to higher classes, applicants may be required to appear for an interaction or admission assessment. Admission is granted based on eligibility, academic performance, conduct, and the availability of seats.
  4. Admission Confirmation
    Upon approval by the Principal, parents are required to complete all admission formalities and deposit the prescribed fees within the stipulated time to confirm admission. The decision of the Principal regarding admission shall be final.

Documents Required

  • Birth Certificate (mandatory for fresh admissions).
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous school, wherever applicable.
  • Report Card / Mark Sheet of the last class attended.
  • Recent passport-size photographs of the student.
  • Any additional documents as prescribed by the school at the time of admission.
